About Prashanthi

Prashanthi Sankaran is an independent musicians with strong background in Indian classical music, she is a pianist and music production. She has over 15 years of Hindustani and Carnatic vocal training from her hometown Bangalore, in the South of India. She now lives in Köln, Germany. Prashanthi has performed as a soloist in the Beethovenfest in 2022 in Bonn and was a part of the NRW Dialog Project between Turkish-Indian Raga-Maqam system of music in April 2023- both in Germany. She leads an NGO for the the promotion of classical music amongst young minds in Europe. She believes strongly that music and arts can be a tool to overcome the struggles of racism and promote harmony.
