EP DISTRACTIONS (2025)

ABOUT DISTRACTIONS

Currency of Peace: This tune dives into the chaos amidst the modern-day circus of pings, dings, and every distraction imaginable. Each verse unveils a unique way we soak up these distractions like sponges, letting them infiltrate our minds. One layer at a time (depicted in each verse), becoming part of our very being.

Set me Free:This melody captures the tumultuous experience of being swept up in a whirlwind, yearning for a magical rescue, to be set free. Later it offers a serene revelation: true freedom is a journey within.

RB24: Inspired by daily commutes in Germany. Footsteps, delay announcements, train doors open, close, but nothing changes –  reflecting frustration with the inefficient system. The song describes a desire to wake up, create change, and move forward.

EP SHRILOGY (2024)

SHRI KANTHIMATHIM

SHRI IPANEMA

SHRI HANUMAN CHALISA – ELECTRONIC TRIBUTE

ABOUT SHRILOGY

My first album Shrilogy represents the sounds in the mind of of girl born into Tamil culture, fused with the sounds of the modern world around her. Shrilogy, is an album, that reflects all the contemplation in my mind that unfolded into my music arrangements. The EP features three songs:

1. Shri Kanthimathim: Kanthimathi is a venerated goddess, whose power resonates the sound of the Mantra Hreem. She walks through several doors of the temple near the banks of the River Tamaraparani, trying to find her lost treasures, beyond and within. This song visualizes the search for the divine power through some electronic musical patches.

2. Shri Ipanema- The Bossanova song “The Girl From Ipanema” tells the story of a beautiful girl who walks by a beachside bar sipping an Ipanema neighbourhood along the banks of River Kaveri, in the south of India. Humming to herself in the Raga music style.

3. Shri Hanuman Chalisa- Electronic Tribute: MS Subbalakshmi is a household name in the field of Indian classical music. One of her contributions is the Hanuman Chalisa, a Hindu devotional hymn dedicated to the Hindu god Lord Hanuman. It consists of 40 verses (chalisa) composed by the Indian poet and saint Tulsidas. In the electronic edit, some verses more loopy than the others.

Stay tuned to this Youtube Playlist for the release of the Shrilogy.
